Designing Weird & Wonderful Animal Jewellery For Your Shop

Whilst we offer a range of laser cutting in the UK services, custom charms are a notable favourite, and not just for jewellery businesses either! Whether you’re an aspiring comic artist, serious doodler or influential designer, laser-cut charms for necklaces, key-rings, phone accessories and more can take the form of absolutely anything, which is what makes them so popular.

Unusual Animals For Truly One-Of-A-Kind Jewellery

It’s not just cute cats, dogs and elephants that cause all nations and people to simultaneously “awwh”, there are an abundance of animal species that are sure to make the world smile in adoration (and encourage sales of other products too!). You only have to take a look at recent (and current) advertisements to see how persuasive a cute animal can be. Whether it’s Sofaworks’ Neil the sloth or the meerkat family from insurance company Compare The Market, it’s clear animals of all kinds make the world go soft! Here are 5 unusual and cute animals that we’re confident will make beautiful (and unique) charms for your business!

  • Pink Fairy Armadillo – The smallest species of armadillo, this unique animal resides in the dry grasslands and sandy plains of central Argentina. They’re expert diggers and can completely bury themselves in mere seconds when they feel threatened by an intruder.
  • The Maned Wolf – Fox-like in appearance (though much taller), this beauty of an animal is the largest canid of South America. Solitary animals by nature, they have magnificently big ears, a pointed muzzle and a coat that’s reddish-brown.
  • Dumbo Octopus – This deep-sea creature looks especially magnificent in movement. The cute name actually comes from the Disney elephant character (Dumbo), since its ear-like fins which flap up and down when it “dances” through the water.
  • Olinguito – In 2013, scientists discovered the adorable carnivore Olinguito in the forests of Colombia and Ecuador. Only a small mammal, it looks like a cross between a house cat (with its flexible claws), and a baby bear.
  • Klipspringer – This species of antelope, which lives in the rockiest parts of Africa, measures only around 20 inches in height. Brilliantly agile, the klipspringer antelope has evolved to walk on the very tips of its hooves. It comfortably jumps from rock to rock, giving any ballet dancer a run for their money!
